Troop 62 is a proud member of the Frontier District of the Denver Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Troop 62 has been serving boys for more than 95 years, making us the second oldest troop in the City of Denver and third oldest in the State of Colorado.
Troop 62 is dedicated to achieving the three chief aims of Scouting: Character, Citizenship and Fitness. We strive to teach scouts lifelong wilderness and leadership skills.
A weekly meeting of Troop 62 could consist of planning an upcoming camping trip, earning a new merit badge, leaning new skills or participating in team building activities. The troop is run by the boys and we help each other grow as scouts and as young men. Troop 62 camps monthly and each summer takes two week long adventure trips. We learn to live the Scout Oath and Law in our daily lives.
