Troop 62 is chartered by the Montclair Methodist Men’s Club and has been serving boys for more than 95 years, making us the second oldest troop in the City of Denver and West of the Mississippi River. We are proud to be long-time members of the Denver Area Council.

Troop 62 is dedicated to achieving the three chief aims of Scouting: Character, Citizenship, and Fitness. We strive to teach scouts lifelong wilderness and leadership skills.

A weekly meeting of Troop 62 could consist of earning a new merit badge or working on rank advancement, learning new scouting skills, participating in team building activities and sometimes planning an upcoming camping trip. Troop 62 camps monthly and each summer takes two-week long adventure trips. We learn to live the Scout Oath and Law in our daily lives.

Interested in Scouting?

Troop 62 is open to boys 11-17. We teach young men to camp, be a great citizen, wilderness survival and how to be leaders of tomorrow. We are a boy run Troop which means our scouts decide what we are going to do and then go do it.
